ABOUT
Eva Donoghue is an award-winning composer, best known for her work in television, film, and games. Her music has been performed and premiered at venues including the National Gallery, Barbican Centre and Wigmore Hall. Donoghue's recent screen credits include A Woman of Substance (Channel 4) and Rivals Season 2 (Disney+ / Hulu).
In 2024, Eva orchestrated for Corinne Bailey Rae’s Black Rainbows performance at the Roundhouse and has been featured on BBC One, where she conducted her 2025 arrangement of “Tarantula,”. Donoghue's music spans a wide variety of medias, including the musical Linking Out (set to premiere at the 2026 Edinburgh fringe) as well as the WriteHer podcast.
Donoghue’s music is characterised by rich orchestral textures layered with unconventional instruments and electronics. This is best shown in her concert piece Beyond The Mist which was a finalist in the Oticons International Scoring Competition 2026 as well as her score for Seasons of Solitude, which won the International Indie Game Music Competition (2025) .
